We were contracted for a Home Staging in a very sunny apartment of 40 square metres in the middle of Barcelona’s Eixample. The owner wanted to rent it for tourism or as a temporary residence. The apartment in itself already had a lot of character, but due to the need of renting it as soon as possible, required decorative details and ambiances that would attract attention and made it stand out when put up for rental.
The property was tiny and of a rustic style. We decided to use natural materials and warm colours to achieve the desired result. A little bit of organization and depersonalization was needed, but we decided to respect its style and experimented with earthy and brown textiles, adding prominence and light in the living room with orange and maroon elements, such as floor lamps, plants, candles, and kitchenware, helping prospective clients imagine being at home there.
We organized and equipped the kitchen (coming straight from the rural Catalan 1950s) with all kinds of details. As a result, we made it beautiful and functional for anyone renting the property for any given stretch of time.
In the bathroom, we followed the style chosen by the owner, who had picked blue and white for the walls. The results of a solid, in-depth cleaning combined really well with new towels, soap dishes, sea themed bric-a-brac, and the shower curtain, giving the space warmth.
Once again we delivered on our proposal, finishing with a cozy and very warm apartment. A true haven of tranquility in the middle of the great city of Barcelona.
